FasTIS
Igence were contracted to develop an RSP accredited National Rail Ticket Issuing System which delivers high speed processing of ticketing products in both magnetic and/or contactless smart card format.
The FasTIS offers the following features:
- Integrated with the RJIS UK timetable, fares and ticket product database using Jeppesens Integrated Public Transport Information System (IPTIS)
- Integrated with the National Rail Reservation System for seat reservations and journey assistance
- High speed operation using a customised keyboard
- Integrated with the Retail Logic Solve/SE and Smartswitch products to fully support credit and debit card usage for both magnetic cards and EMV chip cards
- Euro ready
- Season ticket database
- Support for other ticket types e.g Railcards, Local Products, Car Park Tickets etc
Using the proven design of the London Underground Ticket Office Machine, we were able to quickly integrate with Jeppesens Integrated Public Transport Information System to demostrate the feasibility of the system, which could then be used as a marketing tool by Cubic Transportation Systems.
