I-Master Trials MMI
I-Master is a lightweight high performance radar developed by Thales Aerospace Division, combining Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) detection and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery. The I-Master Radar can be fitted to a wide range of platforms and is used for targeting and intelligence gathering. Igence were contracted to develop an MMI to coordinate data gathering trials for the radar.
The I-Master Trials MMI was designed to:
- Allow the operator to manage the data gathering trials as a series of runs
- Configure the radar, navigation and data recording subsystems
- Present radar output in the form of range doppler maps and range return graphs
- Replay recorded trials data
Using experience gained on previous projects we were able to provide functionality to ensure the simplistic execution of a flight trial along with flexibility to allow the MMI to be used in complex system test environments.
