Data Analysis
Although theoretical models are useful for analysing radar performance, there is no substitute for real data obtained from trials. Data recorded from development or in-service radars may be used to:
- Characterise the installed radar performance
- Identify faults and weaknesses
- Improve the performance modelling
- Identify modes where improved performance is required
- Develop algorithms to achieve the required improvements
The expertise necessary to perform these tasks is only usually available in very large companies. However, at Igence we have radar system engineers and software developers with experience in all of these activities. Thus we are able to offer complete analysis facilities consisting of:
- Interface hardware and trials data recorders
- Data analysis workstations
- Software suite for analysis and modelling
- Analysts and consultancy services as required.
Using these, an agency or company without in-depth radar experience will be able to undertake analysis tasks with confidence.
