Technical Background
In order to produce realistic radar performance assessments, improvements and simulations, it is necessary to have high quality models for the radar reflections from targets and their environments, along with a detailed understanding of radar processing. All of these areas are underpinned by mathematical techniques, which are crucial to the effective exploitation of the models and signal processing concepts.
Our products and services make use of techniques only available in current research literature, and the documents below provide an introduction to some of these areas in the form of tutorials.
The material is divided into ten sessions. The earlier sessions cover the basic mathematics needed to understand the later sessions, and it is therefore not necessary to have prior knowledge of advanced mathematics to follow the course.
The sessions are provided for download in Adobe PDF format. ![]()
